Musically, they perfectly blend the lines between the soft instrumentalism that many would call emo and the harsh blasts of sound that would be called hardcore or metal. Lyrically, 7DOS stand alone. The lyrics are amazingly written, heartfelt, and about very real and important issues in our world today. If I were to have to call any band 'emo-violence' or 'emotional hardcore' these guys would be it. The way this cd was recorded gives it another great facet - that being the ability to convince you that what you're hearing is really just playing in a room right down the hall from you. With that, the sense of urgency and importance of a live show is presented via a tiny silver platter. If you can get your hands on a copy of this, make sure you do, as the explanations behind the songs make the album complete.
